better by the day...

Just a quick update on the Musacc household... it seems to be better by the day. We realized that the backyard/deck was looking almost as fabulous as the inside, but we had neglected the front of the house! We certainly aren't fans of the yellowish-ivory siding, but it was clear that the lights on the outside [a mix of cheap bronze and tacky tarnished brass] were making the situation worse. Todd's dealing along with some frustration, sweat and perserverence scored us some patio furniture in a dark bronze... matching light fixtures brought out the dark brick and NOT the yellow-hue of the siding. So very much improved.


The glads below are growing out front and the purple/yellow dahlias are thriving on the deck along with the Magellean Zinnias that just keep coming. I really did get things to grow AND stay alive. When the snow starts melting next year - it's on!


What else could improve our house? Chick-fil-A opened less than 1/2 a mile away... I really wanted to take the cow a drink, but we had a billiards table to go pick up! The poor guy, er cow, must have been so hot - he really could have used a visit to 237.


What's that? A billiards table? Yep, it is... major deal - just trust us, we wouldn't have it if it wasn't. It WAS a deal and it IS now fully assembled in what used to be the piano/sitting room in the front of the house. We have some house guests coming in October - that is when it will make its debut. We're out of our minds.


The birds and fish are still thriving too... no worries.
