buck stevens and the bar

It is safe to say that we've been of legal drinking age for some time now... that, combined with Jamie's bartending skills and love of entertaining goofy friends resulted in BOXES of liquor that traveled from Fort Wayne to Cleveland. Food won out on the battle over cabinet space and we were left with a problem - what to do with all the booze... and the large corner space in our new kitchen. Drumroll: BUY A BAR!

Now, proof that the Field of Dreams logic prevails in many situations - we bought it and the visitors came!

Other than the bar - the highlight of the night was Buck Stevens. Who's he? I do hope you get to meet him (and his soon to be mullet posse) sometime in your future. The how "it" got to us is a good story, but just imagine Todd strutting all over Port Clinton, Ohio on the 4th of July wearing a mullet/cammo hat combo that looked far too realistic for comfort... Jamie was officially married to a guy named Buck Stevens.

After a few drinks - the cammo/mullet combo made it's first debut later that week at the home bar -- soon enough, Clay was unstoppable!

The toothpick was an excellent finishing touch...

The kids enjoyed the hat of the alter ego so much that Jamie "put in an order" for 3 more - fortunately for anyone that checks this site... we now have 4 total and look forward to the next night on the town.

Here's to having a rockin' bar at home... Here's to cart filled trips to the state store, dozens of wings from Zeppe's... Here's to mullets, red bull & vodka and living room dance parties... Here's to 2 hours of "name that tune" and the best cosmos on the planet...

Above anything...

Here's to Todd, Clay and Aaron -- 3 guys Jamie just couldn't possibly live without.

I want to thank the hosts for a killer evening. The mullet will dawn again, oh yes...
