Thankfully, such dreams can come true at the Walleye Festival in Port Clinton, Ohio. For the first time that I can remember (that is MANY years of going to Lake Erie)... the weather was nice on Memorial Day weekend! So, we took advantage of the nice weather and headed to the Walleye Festival for the coveted corndogs, lemonades and (for Todd & Patty) the Pirate Ship ride. Yikes!
My friends Shannon & Matthew (from the Fort... as in Wayne) ventured to the Lake to visit. Right away, we realized that we were WAY too cool to blend in with the crowd...
The excitement didn't end with carnival fun times. We found a kitten with a "heart-on" (we'll have to check with Todd for that photo... sorry, I know you're on pins and needles waiting) -- then had to buy Matthew a new shirt after said kitten mistook him for a litter box. :)
Buoy wasn't too thrilled with the feline drama, but he was pleased as punch after he got to take a ride with Todd. Patty's bike never looked so sexy!
